28 September 2016

The European Blue Flag symbolizes the Club’s commitment with the development of the communication and training in activities for the care of the planet sea, in accordance with the criteria established by the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education).

Among the initiatives developed, we can outline the actions addressed to the improvement of the sea bed. In this sense, during the month of April and May tasks were undertaken for the removal of waste from the club basin, especially tyres and lost chains with the goal of guaranteeing the maximum cleanliness of the Club water.

The Blue Flag, awarded by an International Jury, presided over by the FEE, is a symbol recognized and valued by tenths of millions of users of beaches and ports and a world standard of tourism eco-quality, promoted by the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization) and UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme).
