Després dels excel·lents resultats al Mundial de F18 amb un quart absolut per a Mitch i Ruben Booth i el títol de subcampions Juvenils i un tretzè a la general per a Jordi Booth i Joan Costa, els regatistes del CNCB-CVP s’embarquen al Team Extreme, l’equip català que participa a l’Extreme Series (20 a 23 Juliol, Barcelona) encapçalat per Mitch i els joves regatistes del nostre Club, juntament amb Alberto Torné, Jordi Sánchez, Tom Buggy i Freddie White.

The Ordinary and Extraordinary Assemblies of Club Nàutic Costa Brava/Vela Palamós were held on 3 June with a good member attendance at the Espai del Peix. The Assembly was presided over by the Club’s President, Eduard Sallés.



Jordi Cargol, 17th at the 2.4mR World Championship

The sailor from CN Costa Brava–Vela Palamós Jordi Cargol finished seventeenth overall at the 2.4mR World Championship held in June in Kiel Olympic waters with the participation of more than 40 sailors from 3 continents.


Joaquín Blanco awarded Finn Gold Cup 40 years late

The 1977 Finn Gold Cup never happened. The winner of the renamed Finn World Week was never officially acknowledged as World Champion. Now, 40 years later, Spaniard, Joaquín Blanco has been acknowledged by the class and his peers as the 1977 Finn World Champion and has had his name engraved on the Finn Gold Cup, denied to him four decades ago by the unwelcome intrusion of global politics. Now, four decades later, on Saturday, 23 June, 2017, the Finn Class has rewritten history.
