Second place for José Vizcaíno and Walter Brandeski on board Ketio finish at La Petrolera regatta

4 April 2017

The CN Costa Brava-Vela Palamós sailboat Ketio sailed by José Vizcaíno and Walter Brandeski finished second in Class 5 A2 in the 18th edition of La Petrolera regatta, held on 31 March and 1 April, organised by CN El Garraf.

The Barcelona regatta registered a high number of entries with an excellent organisation. Sailing conditions were complicated due to the changing winds for the fleet that sailed from Club Nàutic Garraf towards the Casablanca petroleum platform in Tarragona and back to Garraf.

Ketio was second in his group as well as in the overall results, from Class 3 A2 to Class 6 A2. He was won by only 31 seconds in compensated tome by José Avilés’s Amadis. In real time, Ketio was the fastest boat with a sailing time of 17 hours, 51 minutes and 11 seconds.
